Electronic Visit Verification
(EVV)

The 21st Century CURES Act is a Federal Mandate that requires Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems for Medicaid-funded personal care services (PCS) and home health care services.

This Act requires that we must collect the following information about each shift:

• The type of service performed
• The name of the individual receiving the services
• The name of the individual providing the service
• Date of Service
• Location of service delivery
• Time the service begins and ends
